Just like some of the most expensive pullout taps, the Trieste has a coiled spring mechanism to fully retract the head automatically after use. It feels reassuringly solid and is exceptionally effective. The standard weighted hose seen on most pullout taps is a decent solution, but the coiled spring version is so much better. It is one of our favourite features about this beautiful tap, and is genuinely surprising to see at such an affordable price.The mixer function allows you greater temperature control, while the pull-out spray head gives you an effective method of rinsing pots and pans.

The spray head has a simple rectangular button mounted upon it which diverts the flow of the water between the ‘standard’ flow, and the watering can-style secondary spray. This allows you to use a normal flow to fill up a glass of water, or rinse down the pots and pans, and then use the watering-can spray to rinse your fruit and veg.
